Mary Jean Manning (Nee: Gilman) of New Rochelle passed away Wednesday April 1, 2015 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born May 12, 1930 in White Plains, NY and grew up in Mamaroneck, NY. Mary Graduated Mamaroneck High School in 1948 and attended Westchester Community College. She married John J. Manning on July 20, 1957 at St. Joseph's Church, Yonkers, NY.
Besides her husband John, she is survived by 4 children; Catherine C. Manning of New Rochelle, Jean M. Manning of New Rochelle, John S. Manning (Elizabeth) of Bethesda,...

Mary Jean Manning (Nee: Gilman) of New Rochelle passed away Wednesday April 1, 2015 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born May 12, 1930 in White Plains, NY and grew up in Mamaroneck, NY. Mary Graduated Mamaroneck High School in 1948 and attended Westchester Community College. She married John J. Manning on July 20, 1957 at St. Joseph's Church, Yonkers, NY.
Besides her husband John, she is survived by 4 children; Catherine C. Manning of New Rochelle, Jean M. Manning of New Rochelle, John S. Manning (Elizabeth) of Bethesda, MD, Francis Manning (Nicole) of Edinburg, NY and grandchildren Olivia, Scott and Alison.
Mary worked for many years until her retirement as Church Secretary of Holy Name of Jesus Church, New Rochelle.
She was a member of the Blessed Mother Society at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library, and prior member of the New Rochelle Woman's Club. Mary was also former Treasurer of the New Rochelle Ladies of Charity and Past President of the Auxiliary and member of the Board of Directors of the Colburn Home for the Aged.
